Publix Pharmacy at Calusa Cay

The best pharmacy I have found. They give un-hurried advice , and when I was covered in hives, took me to the exact spot on the shelf to find relief meds. Always knowledgeable about the meds they are dispensing,and let me know when I can collect prescriptions. Had quick and painless flu shots. Yes, they are good.

My husband had oral surgery in Fort Myers and we drove back home & stopped at the Publix pharmacy in Bokeelia to get his pain meds filled. This is his normal pharmacy for his other prescriptions. We got to the counter at 11:50 am. We were the only people there. There were 2 pharmacists there talking to each other. It took them 10 minutes to come over & get the prescription. The he tells us it would be at least an hour to fill. I asked if it could be expedited since my husband was in a lot of pain. He told me that they only fill in order of receipt. So we waited. I understand rules but a little compassion & customer service does go a long way.

This can be a very frustrating pharmacy,it's 230 and there closed for lunch...Sometimes the staff is nice,other times very short and rude.. depends on the mood in the air I reckon.. or you can get a text message saying your meds are ready,drive the 37min and they tell you that you have nothing,then halfway home they send another message saying it's ready...
