Publix Pharmacy at Boca Valley Plaza

The pharmacist today was incredibly rude beyond what I have ever experienced before from anyone working in healthcare (actually never had a bad experience with a pharmacist before today). The pharmacist helped me because the tech was on the phone. I went to pick up a medication for my daughter. My current address did not match what was on file and my daughter has not gotten a medication in many years. We have moved many times over the years so I could not guess what old address they had on file. The pharmacist was not pleased about that. In addition, my daughter has a different last name and her last name is of a different ethnicity than me. The pharmacist could not comprehend that. The Pharmacist Samantha, has honestly got to be one of the most rude and cold pharmacists I have ever experienced! Absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated by her, not only was she condescending and rude but refused to provide information regarding my prescription as well as refused to let me speak to her supervisor or manager. She was not willing to help at all, and on top of it was incredibly short with me, treating me like I was incompetent because I had never been prescribed the medication before. . I sat on hold for over 15mins waiting to speak to a supervisor, but I believe she just left me on hold on purpose. Disgusted with the service especially from a so-called professional!

Ann, the pharmacist was knowledgeable, professional, wise and kind. Her years of experience were evident in her instruction and together with her assistant they made a great team. It was calm not chaotic and Publix should be proud of this crew. Thank you.

I’m a long time pharmacy customer and I’m going to let you know why the mix of reviews come out to average... Joe, the Pharmacy Manager is everything you’d want a pharmacy manager to be from courteous, expeditious, truly makes you feel like you are his priority (even when it’s clear you can’t possibly be). 5 stars. On the other hand, the Assistant Pharmacy Manager is his polar opposite and most times I will literally leave and come back another day when Joe’s there. It’s that bad. I see several comments about her attitude below and they are spot on, she is always very rude, never seen her smile (even before masks), and she seems to make everything so much more complicated than they need to be! Tanner and his co-worker went out of their way to help me. There was some confusion from my doctors office with the prescription getting called in, and they were able to assist, and then also helped on my portion of the co-pay and saved me money. It is really nice when you go into a business, and the people helping you really care, and do what they can to help people. Thank You.
