Publix Pharmacy at Berry Farms Town Center

I transferred all of my prescriptions a couple of years ago from CVS (Liberty Pike) to the Berry Farms Publix Pharmacy due to the terrible customer service (or lack there of) at CVS and I’m so happy I did! CVS was constantly out of my prescription and refused to ever tell me if other CVS’s had it in stock. However, Publix always has it in stock and ready to go! There was once they did not have it and they contacted other Publix locations until they found one who carried it and called me within the hour to give me the good news. In addition, recently I was having some issues with my insurance covering a medication I received a prior authorization for and the Pharmacy Tech was so professional and took his time trying to figure out the issue. I had an issue with one of my medications, and Jon actually treated me the way you would want to be treated. He was so friendly and solved my problem without any hesitation.

The people at the pharmacy have always been nice to me and it was no problem to exchange a medication they had special ordered for me when the one that arrived had artificial sweetener in it. I really thought how they were going to handle having to exchange that would be the determining factor of whether I'd keep using them and I was very pleased. They were great about it and have always been quick for us. I would definitely recommend them.

Such a helpful and friendly pharmacist! She has helped me with OTC items even after the pharmacy has closed (but she was still there, obviously). Always a smile, too. It can get busy but it seems like they are making every effort to really serve each customer as deserved.

Went to pick up my medications, was told one was not covered. I asked what the insurance claim was saying and the tech told me it wasnt formulary. Im a pharmacy technician, I understand how insurance works, and this didnt seem right. I paid and stepped off to the side to call my company. Turns out, my meds are covered completely at CVS. Dont know how publix system works, but at my previous retail pharmacy we could go in and see a reason like that and let the patient know.
