Publix Pharmacy at Baldwin Park

Pharmacy is incompetent and very argumentative. After waiting and having to follow up with them for 5 days to get a critical rescue medication, they were angry and defensive when I informed them maybe they weren't calling the correct number for my doctor. They also lied and told me they were waiting 2 days for my pharmacy in my home town to answer the phone... this was not true and was confirmed by my local pharmacy. This pharmacy staff needs to be investigated and their process needs to be updated. It should not take an entire week for someone to transfer an already approved, insurance ran, and previously filled medication. An absolute insult to the publix brand, I will not be shopping at this location ever again.

This is the second day in a row they have failed to fill my Rx. They have told me it would be ready both days but then said their order had an error. I’ve never had this problem at any other Publix pharmacy. The first day they told me to come in the following afternoon. Then I got here and they said they texted me (which I did not receive but I receive Publix text from other ones) and then proceeded to tell me that was another error on their end. Now I’m waiting as they reluctantly fill it from their stock. Their service is horrendous. What a waste of time and putting me two days behind on antidepressants which have withdrawal symptoms. Stellar!

The worst pharmacy we have ever experienced. We went to Aloma for years and it was much better. The people working there actually care and we never had these problems. We have only had problems for the past two years with this pharmacy since we moved to Baldwin Park. Its so disappointing. Whenever you have a prescription called in we have gone in several times hours after we have been to the doctor and they have said you have to wait until 3 o’clock tomorrow. When there’s been a problem with a prescription, it seems that they will do the minimum to make sure that it goes through for you -example…Its a day before a holiday weekend we called to see if our scripts were ready and they said that there was a problem with the directions and suggested that we call the after hours doctor to spee

This pharmacy is amazing. I received two medications from my doctor and it ended up being around $200. The pharmacist at the counter was able to find me some savings and I ended up paying $70 instead. She was a very kind hearted lady and a huge help. I didn't catch her name but she was great.

Had a RX that I thought I was picking up at Baldwin, and cut it close before closing time the day before a holiday. Got there and Erin looked it up and it was at Aloma, and I wouldn’t make it before they closed. She could have just made me deal with my mistake but instead she and Zach quickly transferred it to Baldwin and got it ready for me before they closed. Thank you both!
