I had a church member recently placed at PruittHealth Southwood for rehabilitation following a major stroke. As a pastor, I made several visits during his stay, and each time the facility appeared clean, organized, and well maintained. The staff was consistently welcoming and helpful. What stood out to me most was the accessibility of the Director of Nursing. She was available, willing to answer questions, and took time to provide clarity and reassurance regarding his care. Even while my member was navigating the challenges of what I believe to have been dementia, the rehabilitation services were effective and intentional. My grandfather was a resident at PruittHealth Southwood, and our family is truly grateful for the care he received. The staff were attentive, compassionate, and supportive during his time there. He especially enjoyed participating in Bible study, which brought him comfort and joy. It meant so much to see him engaged and spiritually encouraged. my loved one was recommended to this facility and they assisted us with providing care and rehabilitation for her until we were able to get her home so we could provide care for her in her home. The nursing staff and case management provided great care and assistance not only for my loved one but for us as well.
