I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the care and treatment my mother has been receiving at your facility. We are new here, and this experience has been extremely distressing for both of us. On multiple occasions, staff members have been unapproachable and dismissive when I have asked questions. One instance in particular stands out: while I was patiently waiting to ask a question, the staff member responded as though I was a bother. I remained calm and respectful, despite the unprofessional tone. On another occasion, I entered my mother’s room and found her sitting in wet sheets. When I asked a staff member about obtaining clean towels, the response was abrupt and rude, stating, “Did you see some? We don’t have any.” Again, I remained calm, but the lack of compassion w

To staff of PruittHealth-Neuse, and Physical/Occupational Therapy staff I wanted to express our deepest gratitude for care my father Robert (Oct/Nov 2025) received in rehab. Your team dedication, patience, expertise, humor and compassion truly made a difference. It turned a scary situation into a peaceful experience. Words alone cannot express how thankful my family is knowing that you have taken excellent care of our father. Thank you so much for everything you do to help others.

My husband spent the last year of his life at Pruitt Neuse. The whole time he was there I felt he was well cared for. The nurses and aids on his floor always treated him with respect and care.

Very caring facility. Pruitt’s staff have taken great care of my sister & kept her busy with numerous fun activities.

While I understand being short staffed and all the other excuses for sub service, surely someone could rectify the situation. My aunt is one of those suffering from dementia however she is still able to make her bed and feed herself. Therefore I think they consider her well enough to care for herself. There's always hygiene issues, no regular schedule for anything, etc. and then there's the condition of the rooms. It's just not a place that would be my first choice. Unfortunately it's the only option at this point and that's what they bank on. Her step daughter is a vigilant advocate for her and that doesn't even change things!
