I’m sharing this based on the experience of a close family member whose parent stayed here. They reported serious concerns about response times and care. According to them residents were sometimes made to wait for bathroom assistance, a wound dressing was not changed as scheduled, and there were instances where a resident called for help repeatedly without response and had an accident. I cannot personally verify every detail but hearing this was concerning enough that I felt families researching care options should ask detailed questions about staffing, response times, and wound care protocols

I broke my mother out of Laurel Park this afternoon. She was brought there at 10:30 PM for wound care. By 3:00PM the day following her admission not a single person had actually SEEN the wounds, because the bandages were still there from the hospital that refered her there, signed and dated by the hospital nurse who applied it. We documented absolutely everything we saw. She is now back home and very HAPPY to be out of that place!

Our family's experience with PruittHealth - Laurel Park was nothing short of a nightmare. After our mother was discharged from Piedmont Henry Hospital following a hip fracture, we chose this facility for its proximity to our homes. Despite our family being present 90% of the time oversee her care, the level of neglect we witnessed was staggering. The communication at his faulty is no-existent. From Dr. Patel down to the support staff, we found a complete lack of responsiveness to our mother's needs. Administrative follow-up was zero; simple requests from information or assistance routinely took 2-3 days to be addressed. If we could give this place ZERO stars I would. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! My MIL had multiple emergency situations and diagnosis and we needed somewhere close by her other doctors. First time my husband went in there during her admitting one of the nurses comes into ear shot YELLING on a personal call about how many patients she has had and how "needy" they are. . . Be for real! After the first night my husband visited her only to discover that her left arm was COVERED in bruises and IV insertion attempt bruises! Avoid putting you loved ones in this facility! Had it not been for the physical therapy department, I would rate Laurel Park with a zero. My mother was there for less than three weeks and was discharged with bed sores that caused her pain. In less than a week when I went to take her home and got her dressed for church, I noticed the onset of bedsores. Her diaper was also extremely soaked. I was encouraged to complete a grievance form, and no one ever reached out to me. I also left a message with the administrator, and still no response.
