PruittHealth - Brookhaven

This place doesn't deserve a single star. I would NEVER recommend this place, not even for my worst enemy. The staff has terrible bedside manner, is nonchalant, and truly fits the stereotype of nursing facilities. My grandfather would call for nurse assistance with no response. They shaved him and left hair in his mouth! He was dehydrated and couldn't eat and did not make an attempt to give him fluids. He fell out of his bed and my grandfather had to contact us himself at 2 in the morning! If you truly care about your loved ones, DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO GO HERE!

Visiting with my sister i find my experience very good. The facility is cleaned, the staff attended to the client very well and safety was in order and overall they gave a homey since of welcome. My sister has let me know that she is happy and pleased there. Thats what matters the most to me for my love one.

Recently my mother was admitted to Pruitt healthcare facility, located in Brookhaven. I had intentionally chose them because 3 years prior my mother in law had been under their care. We had been pleased with the level of care she received during her lengthy stay. Oddly enough they both had been placed in in the exact room and bed. However this is where the similarities ended. My mother was there exactly 3 days before I removed her from the facility due to the indifference and lack of care she received during her brief stay. Some of the atrocities included an untidy environment, limited follow up concerning the consumption + removal of meals, non compliance with med distribution (she refused to take them so they didn't administer them) My mother was experiencing cognitive deficits and the

My grandmother stayed at Pruitt once and my uncle has just competed his second stay. He was very pleased with the facility and staff. Everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. My uncle enjoyed the meals and conversations with the staff. Ms. Stevens, nurse navigator, was exceptional. She went above and beyond in updating my uncle's condition, returning my calls, and finding resources for my uncle's care after his release and so much more. She even called after he was released to check on him and to see if we needed any additional resources. She is much more than an employee of Pruitt, she became my friend. Pruitt Brookhaven was overall an excellent experience for our family. I would highly recommend their facility and services to anyone in need of rehabilitation.

My Mom has been here in the Pruitt Brookhaven rehabilitation for about 11 days, and I am happy to say that she’s in good spirits, which is very uplifting in her case. She is actually cooperating with the therapy staff CNA’s and the nurses who are truly a blessing. She’s 85, and this makes my heart smile knowing that My Mom is in professional hands.
