Prue Physical Therapy and Sports Performance

Dr. Prue is incredible to work with. I came in with a lingering shoulder issue that was limiting my training, and he got me feeling significantly better in a short amount of time. His assessment was thorough, and his explanations were clear and actionable. I appreciated his clear explanation of the mechanics behind the issue. That understanding helped me improve my positioning in workouts, not just heal my shoulder. He addressed the root cause and gave me tools to prevent it from happening again. Highly recommend, especially for active individuals who want to move and train better- not just “rest it.”

I went to Dr prue when I pulled my back and thought it was another episode of slip disc or herniated disc . He saw me and had me do initial movements and assured me it’s not as bad and I should recover in couple weeks . I continued with strength training 2-3 times a week with him for few months and he taught me simple exercises with correct form and how I can avoid getting hurt long run. He is the best pt I have met in US. I have lived in LA and then moved to NC and he is the best!!

Kevin is an excellent physical therapist. After a few visits to other therapists in the area we found Prue Physical Therapy and were very pleased with the experience and results. He worked with my son for a sports injury. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to develop a weekly program for his recovery. He was very accommodating working around my sons school and training schedule and very personable. Overall we could not be more pleased.

After receiving mediocre treatment for multiple injuries by 3 other physical therapists, I tried Kevin Prue. The Prue treatment was as difference as day and night! Kevin's attention to my needs was as if I was his only patient. He had unique treatment techniques and exercises for all of my unique injuries. When my wife had an issue with her hand, she tried him. After her first treatment, she left his office and said one word to me: "WOW!" His rates were reasonable. Having experienced a few therapists in the area, I can say that Kevin Prue is probably the very best therapist in the area. I only wish I had tried him first. Try him once and you'll understand.

My son is a serious runner, and Kevin has done a lot to address underlying weaknesses that were leading to pain and injuries. He helped keep our son healthier than many peers running similar mileage. He doesn’t file insurance, but you may find that his price is not that different than your normal co-pay. I tried another physical therapist from the list with discounted co-pays and wasted a lot of money for months before going to Kevin. I felt way better after three sessions.
