The staff was truly amazing. They treated my mother with great care and compassion. She went into rehab with such fear, but 11 days later, she was more than thankful to everyone who helped her to heal so she could go home. I could not give 5 stars as she had to be moved twice due to flooding, and they took her dirty or soiled personal clothing and either lost it or threw it away. They are stating she will be reimbursed so waiting to see how this process goes. Overall, I would highly recommend this facility.

Providence Point has a staff that is committed to the residents they serve. The staff work with the residents to provide individualized care to allow residents to eat when they want, get up when they want, bathe when they want and even choose their own therapy time. This makes the residents feel more like they are at home rather than in a nursing facility.

Awful care. While my dad was staying there the night nurses would get so tired of helping him get comfortable to go to sleep they would wheel him out to the nurses station and have him sit with the nurses overnight and did not listen to him when he said he wanted to sleep. What person would want to stay up all night and sit at a nurses station solely because the nurses did not want to help him get comfortable. I genuinely wish I was making this up because it was actually insane of them. Then to add onto it they lied on the report saying that he “asked to sit outside overnight at the nurses station”. It was absolutely baffling. Why would a 70 year old want to stay up all night? Insensitive and lacking care. He hated it there.

Sickening how they take financial advantage and continue to charge more for less amenities for these residents.
