The whole experience has been as wonderful as possible for prostate surgery. Dr. Bird's scheduling, protocols, and procedures, make the process very efficient and worry free. The office staff, particularly Jennifer, set up all pre-op coordination with Dr. Bird, your family physician, and the surgical facility. Post-op, Dr. Bird uses an excellent Concierge nursing service, so all care happens at your home which is very convenient and comforting. She continues to monitor your process and again, explains all post-op time frames for the healing process. Dr. Bird is incredible. Dr. Bird and her staff are amazing! They treat every patient with care and compassion and are also wonderful supporters in the local community; donating their time and money to worthy causes. Dr. Bird and her staff have given their precious time to our special needs school, Shine School, as well as resources, materials, and money. I cannot recommend Urologic Integrated Care enough.

I had a referral sent to this office and due to the nature of the medical issue and my age, it was denied. Not a problem, but no one from the office bothered letting me or my doctor know that they denied the referral. I was told to wait two weeks for them to call, which I did and reached out in week three. I would imagine they would have, at the very least, communicated with my doctors office that the referral was denied and why, so they know for future referrals. Maybe that's their policy to just not say anything when denying a referral and just hope people figure it out eventually, but lack of communication seems like a poor policy to have.

I am a disabled ex-professional athlete and new to Gainesville. During my search for a Urologist, I visited Urologic Integrated Care’s website. When I contacted Dr. Bird’s office, I was able to speak with a very informative pleasant professional, who explained exactly what I needed to do, their process and information I needed to complete. After making my appointment, completing necessary information I made my appointment. When I arrived at Dr. Bird’s office I was greeted by a WONDERFUL lady at the front desk, MELISSA, who checked me in immediately. Very shortly, I was assisted by a very HELPFUL GENTLEMAN, ITAMAR, who guided me to the examination room, where I was greeted again by a FANTASTIC Medical Assistant, VIANCA, who completed my necessary prep and answered other questions I had. Dr. Bird is amazing. Her bedside manner is outstanding. She always treats you with respect and compassion. I went to her with prostate cancer and she saved my life. I highly recommend her. Everyone at her office is amazingly also.
