Professional Pediatrics

I’m extremely disappointed by my experience with this office. I called to establish pediatric care for my daughter specifically to schedule her vaccinations, only to be told she could not be seen because she is “not up to date” on vaccines and wellness visits. Our insurance changed at the beginning of the year, and I have been actively trying to establish care with a pediatric office that accepts our new plan. Being turned away while trying to schedule preventative care is incredibly frustrating. What is especially troubling is the message this policy sends. Whether a parent is delayed due to insurance changes, provider availability, or even personal decisions, how is it in the best interest of children’s health to refuse to see a child at all? Love this doctor's office! Take negative reviews with a grain of salt. People get frustrated with their insurance and take it out on the staff. Today an irate male was yelling at Lisa at the front desk and making a scene. What the insurance reflects on their end is not the office's fault, but it's something that should be taken up with the insurance company and fixed after. He said he was going to write a terrible review, so I'm here to offset it. I hope he sees this and has a pleasant rest of his day and is kinder to other employees in the future. I have nothing but good experiences with this office. They are always responsive and thorough. :-)

would not recommend this doctor and his office! I was very disappointed with my experience. I didn’t love that they required my credit card on file and their questionnaires wanted to know why we were changing doctors and basically don’t except a lot of referrals to specialists. Dr. Valdez did a lot of joking around, but was not thorough in his examination of my child. He didn’t even check his ears or listen to his heart. He also didn’t even look at my child’s joints after I told him there was pain in those areas. The last straw was when I called and tried to get an appointment for a non well ness check and I was told I couldn’t book ahead and that’s considered a same day appointment so to call back on Monday (this was Friday). I changed doctors the next week.

I'm not a big review writing guy but I know how much honest reviews help me make decisions. My daughter and son in law (and me) brought their newborn to Professional Pediatrics for his circumcision. Dr. Valdez was so great. Not only would I call him an expert in the procedure, but he also has a great bedside manner. He made everyone feel so comfortable and talked us through the entire process. Not only is Dr. Valdez great, the entire staff is also very friendly, professional and accommodating. I would highly recommend Professional Pediatrics for all of your pediatric needs.

Will never return, the lady that works at the front desk for Dr. Valdez was beyond rude and made me feel extremely unwelcome, she is a nasty person. I walked out and will never return.
