Professional Eye Care Optometry PA

The last eye appointment I had was with America's best. There was a massive group of people to be seen and one doctor. It seemed like we were sheep being herded from one place to the other. And even though the people were nice, I couldn't bring myself to go back there. My brother referred me to Eastover Eye Care. I made the appointment and saw Dr. Raynor. His staff was very nice and courteous. Dr. Raynor took his time with me and did the most thorough exam I have ever had and I have been wearing corrective lenses for 40 years. He was kind and friendly. He asked questions and answered every question I had. I was so glad to finally find a doctor that cares about his patients.

I rated the business 2 stars because the customer service was horrendous. I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone to check to see if my son's eye glasses had came in. The. When I finally did they were completely rude. The women told me that there were glasses there in our son's last name but they weren't his. Come to find out they actually were!! Then I gave them our new phone number twice in the same day and they still used our old number to try to communicate. HOWEVER the doctors and PA'S are amazing and that's the only reason im considering returning. I hope they fire the office clerks, it would be a great change.

The service was quick and efficient, however the technician was awkward. He did not explain what he was doing nor did he clean the equipment between patients. He also grabbed the back of my head without asking permission to perform an examine. It was very uncomfortable. Another staff member commented about how well behaved my children were and it was probably because if they were not I would have “beat their butts.” Very inappropriate and not acceptable. As a healthcare provider, I do not see myself going back.

Always a pleasant experience. Dr Raynor is super nice and knows his stuff. His assistant helping him is very intuitive. The young man that did all my tests was very friendly and on the ball! Joel is super sweet as well and very informative on eye care. I would never doubt this guy. The ladies up front are also awesome. I just haven't caught their names because it's always so busy in there with customers. Good place to go. ~April Edwards
