Prof. Gary Chen

Dr. Chen is wonderful physician. His front desk girl is absolutely horrible and tried scamming us out of $1500. She yelled at us and was denying us to be seen for my post opp visit. We even had to call our insurance to tell her we had only a $20 co pay. Then she didn’t believe it was our insurance company and refused to call and verify. She did this with other patients as well. After almost 3 hours she finally accepted the $20 and we were able to be seen. Dr. Chen need to fire this lady as it is illegal to deny medical care in this country and she is opening him up to a variety of law suits. I recommend making sure they have the proper insurance information and price before your visit. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had due to a very bad employee.

Waiting over 1 hour still not seeing Dr

Went to see Dr. Gary Chain today for my wrist because I fell on my left wrist and I crushed it. After viewing my xrays( make sure you bring a copy) he decided that he can just put my wrist in place. After alot of numbing shots and the help with my husband and Dr. Chains wife he put my bones in my wrist back together. No surgery needed... He is awsome and a professor at UCLA. He knows his stuff. You need to see him..
