I found Gavin at Pro Motion Physical Therapy on Yelp while searching for someone who specialized in muscle activation and low back pain after an S5–L1 tear. Instead of going to a large, generic clinic my doctor recommended, I went out of my way from Star to Boise to see him—and it was completely worth it. Having worked with many physical therapists for different injuries over the years, Gavin is by far the most inventive, hands-on, and professional. Every session was tailored to my progress, with quick assessments and adjustments to the therapy. He also provided unique (meaning, ones I hadn't seen before), very effective at-home exercises. I very highly recommend Gavin!

Gavin helped me sort out some back pain as I was getting back on my feet after a long hiatus from regular training. I could not be more satisfied with his intuition, approach and results. Feeling great. Also, Gavin’s a super friendly guy and so fun to work with. I’ll definitely be going back to him next time I need some tuning up.

I am really glad I found Gavin. I pulled a hamstring (grade 2) playing old man indoor soccer. First time ever pulling any muscle in my life. I tried Youtube therapy exercises that just weren't doing the trick and decided to use Gavin per a recommendation from my wife who had done physical therapy with him on an old knee injury. At the time my recovery was stagnant, the pain was constant and i was sidelined from all physical activities. After two months (once a week) of therapy I was not only back to my regular activities, but was equipped with exercises to prevent this injury from reoccurring. Great experience and fantastic results.

Gavin is the only PT who will spend a full hour with you at every appointment and not pass you off to an assistant. He rehabbed my knee for me after surgery and I have been back to full speed with skiing and biking ever since.
