Pro Active Physical Therapy

I received physical therapy (PT) at the hands of Erin Johnson, who has become the owner of ProActive. I am a lifelong walker who experienced significant hip and back pain as I resumed walking after recovery from a cardiac arrest. ProActive practices a fully individualized approach to PT, in which a client's session is entirely in the hands of a certified Physical Therapist - different from the supervised exercise approach, in which significant PT appointment time is overseen by an exercise trainer. PT at ProActive is intense, in that no time is wasted. The work continually balances among diagnosis/assessment, therapeutic treatment activities, and creating, then monitoring a home-based exercise routine to extend treatment activities. Erica and her team at Pro Active PT are nothing short of angels. I had a serious injury with complications and I honestly don’t know where I would be without Erica, Erin and Chris. They do PT the “old” way - hands on, with care and with a thoroughness that I have never seen at other facilities. I cannot recommend the team enough - they are devoted to their patients and their office manager, Jennifer, runs the whole show with ease and efficiency for patients. I have been a patient of Erin Johnson for over three years and I can't say enough wonderful things about this talented therapist. She has helped me recover from a spinal injury and is currently working with me on restoring my left foot from Drop Foot as a result of the prior spine injury. Erin at ProActive Physical Therapy in Narragansett has been my therapist for several years. She is not only well educated but efficient, kind, thorough and explains what the treatment is and how it should be of help for my affected areas.
