Excellence! Dr. Khandelwal is very personable, and he explained all procedures before and after. He was equally attentive and easy to talk to. I really appreciate the phone calls and follow ups from Dr. Khandelwal, before and after my surgery and his willingness to answer all of my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend him - not only for his expertise as a doctor, but also for being so caring. Great doctor, and great support staff as well ... an excellent team!

I have recently been under Dr. Khandelwal’s medical care on two occasions. First for cerebral angiography, then for venous sinus stenting. I can attest to his professionalism, expertise, and kindness. The doctors and nurses that worked with him both times were also very kind and encouraged me when I felt anxious. Outstanding!! My dad had a stroke on Thanksgiving and he was transported to University Hospital of Newark. We are so grateful my dad ended up with Dr. Khandelwal and his team of doctors! They were excellent! Dr. Khandelwal was absolutely AMAZING! He explained my dad’s condition and his treatment options. Honestly, I was so impressed with the time he took to explain all the options and risks. I was able to see all the scans to really understand everything going on and he addressed all my concerns. I knew my dad was in the BEST care! He was kind, compassionate and it was evident he truly cares about each patient! For my dad’s procedure, he used the radial approach (wrist) which is not common to put a stent into my dad’s carotid artery which made the entire procedure safer for my dad! I

It all started when I had to find a good neurosurgeon. I was detected a possible aneurism in brain after an MRI. I was very confused about my MRI outcomes, as they were saying it could be an aneurism, but nothing was confirmed. I met Dr Khandelwal, as a recommended doctor by Dr Aggarwalla, with whom we set up our first visit Dr Khandelwalla explained us (me and my husband), the importance of brain angiogram (which we never heard before) and how it is performed. The way he explained was so satisfactory, that we felt that were in good hands. Our first visit was a video conferencing and not one to one meeting. He was very accomodating, polite and knowledgeable, very well organized. Dr Khandelwalla took his time and explained everything in details - even how I will feel during the procedure. H

I was under Dr Khandelwal care after my stroke, and placed a stent in my head, due to an artery being blocked 95%, and also I have had two angiograms done. No words to say how professional and amazing he is. Answer all your questions, explain in details and follows up. I am living proof of his work. Everything with him and his staff goes very communicating is a big plus. Gives you back the confidence you need on this situation.
