Priority Care Pediatrics - NKC

I just recently moved out of Missouri so I am very sad about leave Priority Care because they have been so amazing! I have a 18 month old and a 2 week old and they’ve treated us so so well we absolutely loved it there! Doctor Neitzel, Schow, and Dickmeyer are some of the BEST professionals I’ve met!! They are VERY knowledgeable and extremely kind and actually care about my children. I wish we could continue to go to Priority Care. I definitely would recommend to anyone!!

400 NW 32nd Kansas City, I took my son in for a simple flu vaccine, and during our visit, a young girl who appeared to be inexperienced administered inject my son. She informed me that we would need to return on another day for a second dose of the vaccine, but she did not mention that my son had not received the full dose during the first injection. Later, I called the doctor to ask why the vaccine requires two doses. The doctor explained that the first injection had not been properly administered.

As always Dr. Jennifer Neitzel is fantastic!! I can be me as a mom. Sometimes I'm not worn out and ragged, but sometimes i am and she does not judge me either way. She listens and she helps me and my children and she always does what's best for them. But she checks in with both me and my children. She's has been a life-line for me more than once on this journey we call parenthood and I'm so thankful for her. I don't think she'll ever know how much she's helped me or how thankful I am for her or how glad I am that my children have her as their doctor! They all feel safe with her and that's the most important thing ever!!!

Dr. Dickmeyer was very attentive and knowledgeable. She engaged well with my children, making them feel very comfortable. I look forward to continuing my children's care with her.

I have been trying to find a pediatrician who was compassionate and could provide the care my special needs child needs. From the moment we came in the staff was so present and attentive. We were moved to a room so the noise in the lobby wouldn’t overwhelm my son. The nurse was so understanding about him not wanting to take vitals in that moment. Dr. Schow came in and immediately asked if turning the lights out would help, which no other doctor has ever offered or allowed me to do. I felt my son calm down right away. For the first time in a long time I felt like I wasn’t on my own anymore, and that’s huge as a single mom managing my own medical situation while making sure my son is getting every thing he needs to thrive physically, emotionally, and the therapies he needs.
