Prineville Veterinary Clinic

We brought our gelding in to have his teeth floated. He had been having a harder time keeping weight on. It was suggested by Dr. Rachel Johnson to have a fecal done and have his teeth done. According to said vet his teeth were within normal limits and he needed just a bit of filing and a minimal hook. We have had his teeth done before and each time he comes out of sedation awesome! It’s quick he doesn’t have any problems but this time it took hours he was so lethargic we couldn’t even get him to load in the trailer because he was so out of it. It took until the next day for him to return to his normal self. Upon returning home we free fed him grass hay and put him on a weight gainer and a weight gainer feed. Months go by he’s still loosing weight and no matter what we are trying it’s not

Excellent care for my geriatric Beagle. Dr. Daizy is compassionate, friendly, upbeat and encouraging. She went above and beyond for me and my sweet old man. A very caring vet tech also, I don't know her name. Everytime I call, my needs are met. Molly Dane

Unfortunately I had to take my sweet girl into the vet as she was not doing well. It turned out to be terminal Unfortunately. The staff at Prineville Veterinary Clinic had never had her as a patient before. They were so wonderful at making sure they were available to see her as soon as they possibly could (same day). When we found out that her kidneys were shutting down, they made sure that both my pup and I were comforted and taken care of. They are very wonderful and caring people. I HIGHLY recommend. We’ve had pets our entire lives, and we have never been treated better than we were at this clinic. This was our first visit with our new puppy, and from the moment we walked in the front desk staff was so friendly and welcoming. The nurse and Doctor Leslie were incredibly attentive, patient, and took their time with Bullet & so sweet! We felt truly cared for….not rushed at all. He even got ice cream! We’ll definitely be switching our other dog to this clinic. Highly recommend…My husband & I look forward to the coming years taking our babies there, who mean the world to us!

Dr. “Lo” is hands down the very best there is. Duke loves her and so do we. She’s knowledgeable, caring, smart patient and a true treasure to have in Prineville.
