Princeton Community Hospital - Bluefield ER

I receive chemo right now and have been in EXTREME pain. First, the oncologist had the nurse take me to the ER because he didn't even want to listen to me, then the ER was the worst!! The Dr wouldn't listen to me at all. They did scans that were not needed - because they were already done the day before. When I finally got to the MRI dept she told me that she told them she could see me at 2:30 - that Dr told us that he couldn't get an MRI for me unless he admitted me!! They just LIE and don't even LISTEN!! Completely unacceptable!!

I can’t find information on who to contact about my visit on WVU’s massive website. I would appreciate a response with the appropriate contact information to HR or whoever is in charge of hiring and/or training the non-medical staff or who be willing to talk to me about my concerns regarding. My actual medical team was five stars, one of the best I’ve experienced in the area. Edit: I’ve received bill with only contact information on how to pay my bill. No one has contacted me about my quality of care. I would still like to voice my concerns on the training and qualifications of the non medical staff.

The worst ER I have ever been to. Very rude Doctors and the worst staff ever. They treat you like your invisible. Don't answer questions and it's like your not even there. I would definitely recommend going to WVU Medicine in Princeton WV. They treat you like you are Important.

I recently made an emergency visit to the Bluefield ER. Nobody wants to be in the ER in the middle of the night especially when the ER is full. The night shift staff was wonderful, they were quick and attentive and although they were seemingly busy and overwhelmed they still took the time to address my needs and explain things. I would definitely recommend Bluefield hospital, especially the night shift staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went in late Friday night after my wife was unable to stand good and having nerve pain in legs. The doctor wouldn't order X-rays. We had to wait for like 2 hours before getting seen by nurse. Then the doctor came in after 3 hours and said he can only make sure its not serious and didnt need to diagnose and sent us on our way. Going here was a huge waste of time we will go to Radford or Wytheville instead.
