PrimeHealth Urgent Care - Port Charlotte

Every person I dealt with at this place was very kind and friendly. The main doctor, or nurse practitioner, was sweet, gentle, respectful of my own opinions and beliefs, plus she was very thorough. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because it was very strong smelling of Lysol or some kind of strong and toxic cleaning product. I also wish the chairs in the waiting room weren’t right against one another due to germs spreading so much easier between patients. Still, in terms of care, it was surprisingly good for an urgent care in my experience. Wait was not bad.

This Urgent care visit was phenomenal ! The minute you walk in you’re greeted by a kind warmth receptionist named Jessica. The reception area, treatment rooms, counter tops, and floors were really cleaned. My nurse Dave, was also super kind, understanding, professional and although, I was in terrible pain he made me laugh. Dr.Jeff came in looked over my shoulder injury and was really personable. He made me feel really comfortable and shared a few laughs. I was in and out in less than 20mins! I was really impressed with their fast, efficient and quality service . Hopefully, I don’t have to return but if I ever have an emergency I will definitely come visit them again. Thank you, PrimeHealth Urgent Care,Port Charlotte. ❤️

Was able to make an appointment online and had minimal wait time to get seen by the in house physician. Was able to get my paperwork squared away and out the door efficiently. Any communications issues between this location and insurance claim providers were rectified quickly.

My experience at the Port Charlotte, Peachland Location was the best medical experience I have had in FL. PA Meeru Fendt was exceptionally caring when I shared my concern of a UTI and being a liver transplant patient of less than a year. As I am only here for a few months and live in Ohio, she was appreciative of my info from my primary care physician in my home town. He texted me his preference for meds knowing my medical historybetter than any other doctor. I would come back again and recommend her and the team highly.

Do not come here if you have CHAMPVA insurance. Even though it is a standard VA-administered program for dependents, the staff turned me away and claimed they 'don't take it.' Very poor experience when seeking urgent medical attention. Save yourself the trip and find a clinic that understands how to process Veteran family benefits.
