PrimeHealth Urgent Care - Parrish, FL

My experience was pretty sub par. The staff is really not very friendly. I was the second person in and I was in there for about a full hour. The person that came in right after me still wasn’t even called back when I was leaving. Also, is very dirty. I did get the meds I needed and am feeling better so that’s the reason for the extra star.

When I woke up on Sunday morning, I knew I needed antibiotics for a developing sinus infection. I was able to get them quickly, so for that I give 3 stars, but I wasn't all that impressed with this facility. The rooms were dirty. Staff was nice but didn't make me feel "seen" as a human being. They were unable to run my insurance because it was a Sunday and rather than charge me the typical co-pay amount for my insurance, they charged me $140. I can only assume they will submit it and I will get a refund, but it would be more customer friendly if they charged a more "normal" co-pay amount. Blue Cross Blue Shield is a well-known and respected insurance company, so it's a bit of a disappointment that their policy is to charge $140. Additionally, the nurse practitioner barely spoke to m

I wouldn’t trust this place with my dead dog. They asked if I was ok with my child dying and having seizures just because I asked about tamiflu. Upon a negative flu test for my ONE YEAR OLD, they could care less about his FOUR DAY 104 FEVER and walked out without checking him out!!!! This place is a scam. They will take your money and not help your child while they make comments I have never heard come out of a medical professionals mouth. 0/0 do not recommend.

We visited PrimeHealth Urgent Care in Parrish while we were in town visiting family and needed care for our 4-year-old. We saw Andrew Chaney, PA-C, and he was absolutely amazing with our child. He made us feel so comfortable that I completely forgot we were not at a pediatric urgent care. Parenting is already hard enough, especially when you are away from home, so finding an urgent care that treated us with the same care and attention as our own doctors back home meant so much. Thank you for making our visit such a smooth and positive experience.

I literally hate urgent cares, you know it’s always going to be a 3 hour visit with inadequate doctors and rude staff. PrimeHealth in Parrish is the complete EXCEPTION!! We’ve went about 4 times now for our kids and the visit is always less than 1 hour, the staff is to the point and friendly and the doctors and NPs are knowledgeable and so kind! Highly recommend 🙂
