Primary Care Associates - Huffman

The check-in process was efficient and seamless, and I was brought back to a room promptly. PA Farris was professional, attentive, and thorough throughout the visit. I felt that I received excellent care.

i normally go to the Lake Otis location but that one was closed so i had to go to the Huffman location. i got there at around 3pm, there were about 3 people ahead of me so there was a bit of a wait. once we got into a room we were in there for almost an hour waiting for the doctor. the staff seemed irritated that we were even there. i understand being busy but you can at least be polite and explain that there are a few more people then normal so there is a little bit longer of wait then normal. i had to let the desk clerk know twice that we were still waiting and she didn’t even apologize for the wait. definitely will not be coming back here again. i’ll stick with the Lake Otis location.

We had to go in at opening due to complications with the flu that’s been taking everybody out. I was in incredible pain (an 8 or 9), and while the appointment took a while to get started (I usually expect to spend an hour at urgent care so I’m not upset, was just impatient due to pain) everyone was caring and considerate from the medical assistant to the front desk. Ashleigh Farris was caring and helpful, and I’m writing a review because, even though she didn’t see what was causing my pain, she believed me about my pain level and took me seriously. As someone with chronic pain, that’s a really big deal, and I’m very grateful for the entire team today. And they let me take a toy even though I’m fully grown! 😭

As both a patient and provider, I've had great experience interacting with PCA-Huffman. They have a great group of providers who take good care of patients in urgent as well as primary roles. Thanks!

Staff and physician were attentive, thorough and kind. Devoted time to explaining diagnosis and treatment and follow up exams to check on efficacy of treatment. Very good care!
