Presbyterian Cardiology in Albuquerque on Carmel

Dr. Banks is an outstanding Cardiologist. Pleasant and easy to understand. I followed Dr. Banks from the Rust Hospital because he is so knowledgeable. His TV commercial for Presbyterian is outstanding but extremely modest because he has a bunch of credentials that are not even listed. He will be doing my surgery when the time comes. The staff at the Carmel facility are outstanding also

Staff drops-the-ball; no follow-up calls with tests results or further tests needed, additionally, support staff is quite rude. Very unprofessional. Does not give a patient a sense of comfort, safety or trust. What has become of medical professionals who actually care about their patients? :(

I am SO glad we landed with this cardiology group! The front office workers are SO friendly and helpful. I asked a question about another situation with my Mom and they went above and beyond to help me!! The technicians and doctors are really good about answering questions and not making us feel rushed.

The front desk staff has transitioned to a self-check-in process, which resulted in some inconvenience during my recent visit with my fiancé. Upon our arrival for her appointment, the front desk associate manually signed her in due to a technical issue with the tablet. However, instead of promptly addressing the situation, the associate engaged in non-work-related conversations and activities in the lobby for approximately 10 minutes. Subsequently, 30 minutes after our arrival and check-in, the same associate abruptly announced from the front desk that my fiancé had missed her appointment due to an incomplete check-in process. We were then presented with the options of waiting for an extended period until the doctor became available or rescheduling the appointment.

This was my 1st visit and Dr. Friedman is outstanding! Professional, courteous, and very kind. Explains test results & conditions thoroughly. Answered all of my questions that I remembered to ask. I forgot a few but hopefully can remember them at the next visit. Also, the staff at front check-in were very helpful. They asked if I preferred self check-in or they could check me in. I preferred the human contact. Thank you Dr. Friedman.
