The staff is very friendly and attentive. The doctor was also friendly, took his time with me, fully explained everything and answered all my questions. The space is not big but it is very clean and organized. There is a nice selection of frames, especially in the section for insurance carriers- I was pleasantly surprised! It took me awhile to make a decision. The staff offered to help me choose and without their help I would still be there undecided, lol...thank you!! Highly recommend.

I am so glad I chose Poughkeepsie Optometry. The doctor was so friendly and suggested options for my specific needs. The optician was extremely helpful and patient while I tried on so many frames to come to a decision. It was a great experience and I'm excitedly waiting for my new glasses. Another plus is the location of the office, which is in a commercial park with ample parking, and the office itself has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was seen immediately upon arriving. I wholeheartedly recommend Poughkeepsie Optometry. I'm editing my review because I went today to pick up two pair of glasses, one bifocal for my computer and small print; and one progressive/transition. This is the first time ever I've tried on new glasses at the optometrist office and could actually see upon trying

I had an eye issue yesterday and they were able to see me that afternoon and address. That has happened before and they are always responsive with appointments. Dr Murnin is top notch and all of the staff could not be any nicer or more accommodating. Definitely recommend!
