Poudre Canyon Health and Rehablitation

Do not have your loved ones go here! As soon as you walk in the door you will understand why. The smell of urine is overpowering, and the facility is disgusting. My husband was coherst into going there while his long term Medicaid gets approved. But as soon as I got there I pulled him out, I would rather we struggle together then ever subject him to that. The sad part is we were not the first ones that day to decline their 'services'. The 2 staff members I encountered were very understanding and completely agreed with our decision. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. Filth.

This was the worst experience of my life. My husband passed away here a few years ago, and I didn’t even receive a phone call to inform me. Instead, I received a call at 7 a.m. from a funeral home asking me what to do with his body thats right I found out from the funeral home not even a call from this place then later, I that day I get a call to go and collect his belongings, which were just thrown together in trash bags and wheeled out the door to me. There was no expression of sympathy or an apology for not notifying me earlier. To this day, I still have nightmares about this experience, even though it happened a few years ago now. Please, for the sake of your family, keep your loved ones away from this place and these people.

This is a clean, yet personable place. All equipment is modern, new and obviously well maintained. All items for residents are well stocked and easy to get to. The staff at this facility is amazing. Everyone is professional and very good at their jobs. I feel that there is an overwhelming, genuine dedication to the care of each resident. Everyone is always eager to assist in whatever way possible, no matter the intensity of need. I noticed that the facility supervisors and more senior staff can often be found taking a personal interest in the care of each and every individual. Care like this is exceptional, and I would recommend this location to anyone.

Recently toured,facility looked cleaned, smelled clean, residents and staff seemed happy and content. It was around lunch time and the food aromas coming from the kitchen was fantastic. I would recommend this facility for my friend who needs Rehabilitation. Unfortunately due to insurance she had to go home with home health.

I recently toured Poudre Canyon with their admissions coordinator Sydney. I interacted with several residents, multiple staff members, and some members of their leadership team . Everyone was kind, and seemed very happy. The building was clean and well kept. The facility is conveniently next to Poudre Valley Hospital.
