Tracy Vella was able to get a previous patient Medicaid after numerous months and attempts. Every time she supplied them with the needed information, Medicaid wanted more and more. It was an uphill battle. Tracy's persistence never weakened. At times I had to contact her after hours, her determination was remarkable. Thanks to Tracy's tenacity she finally won the battle and Pottstown Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will be getting paid thousands of dollars which the patient was unable to pay. Tracy is a valued employee and others will also benefit from her persistence. She was always professional and considerate even during very stressful times.

Pottstown Skilled Nursing and Rehab was very quick to respond to my concerns about a change in my father-in-law's mental status. They approved sending him out 911 to the local hospital. We found out there was a medical reason going back to my father-in-law's surgery. Something the nursing home normally wouldn't have picked up, something that wasn't obvious. It was a complication of his surgery. Getting him to the ER prevented further damage, possibly even death. I'm very appreciative of how alert the therapists were and how quickly the unit manager and staff worked to get him sent out. My mother was here for 2 weeks of rehab before we could move her into assisted living. Everyone from the front desk, nurses, PT, PA, social workers & food service was thoughtful & caring. Our family is very grateful for all the services they provided to prepare Mom for her next move.

Let me start off by saying please don’t judge this facility by its exterior appearance! My mother had two strokes along with several seizures a couple of months ago, which left her unable to speak clearly. She is also weak and has lost mobility on the right side of her body, so she is mostly confined to a bed and/or wheelchair for most of the day. We transferred her to this facility after a bad experience with a prior one, and let me just say it was the best decision we could have made for my mother. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the receptionist to the moment you leave, your stay or visit will be delightful. The entire staff is beyond exceptional. I went to visit my Aunt today and all the staff members were very friendly and welcoming towards me. The facility was decorated for Halloween as was the staff dressed for the occasion.
