This review is long overdue! If you are looking for an orthodontist, do not pass "Go!" and go straight to Dr. Sheikhmous!! We first came to see Dr. S last spring. Here's the story - My daughter had her braces done at another orthodontist office in Chantilly. Immediately after removing them, I noticed that her teeth still weren't aligned properly and even her bite needed to be close it a bit more. That orthodontist was adamant that that was the best they could do for my daughter. Our family dentist strongly suggested we take her for a consult with Dr. S. He explained how top notch she was and that if anyone could fix it, she can. No promises, but we should go see her. She fit us in immediately, knowing we were stressing about the situation. Without hesitation, Dr. S knew that it was fixable

Dr. Sheikhmous was absolutely amazing! I brought my daughter in as a first-time patient without an appointment, and she welcomed us with kindness and care. She explained treatment options clearly, removed old attachments from a different practice free of charge, and made my daughter feel completely at ease. We’re so grateful for her generosity and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience with Dr. Sheikhmous and her wonderful staff. From the initial consultation to the final check appointment everyone was very nice. Dr. Sheikhmous explained everything to me in detail and did a wonderful job, the assistants were awesome and made sure the whole process went smoothly, and the front desk always helped whenever I had any questions. I highly recommend this practice for anyone who is looking to get orthodontic work done!

Hands down, AMAZING work! No matter where we were going to end up, the Dr would have their work cut of for them-see before/after pics. We started with Dr. S in Nov 2022 and completed braces in Dec 2024 (still continuing to wear retainers at the time of review). It wasn't an easy road but with a very caring staff, with loads of patience (I mean a child who asks many questions, in which the staff would answer, complained things hurt when nothing was happening, talked through what they were doing/going to do to ease her, etc), Dr. S and her team worked magic in just over 2 years. They have shown a remarkable ability to quickly grasp my dental issues as well as their willingness to take on any task with enthusiasm.
