Portola Village Pharmacy

Very nice people working there and the pharmacy, I was transported in time , definitely will go back .

These people are judgmental and discriminate depending on any meds your on or need.. pretty sad when the physicians assistant agreed it’s not the first time when being told a client feels disrespected and discrimination upon.. like I get it’s a Monday but sheesh do better! Discrimination and delaying treatment is violation in California.

I'm only giving three stars as a heads up to others who are new to the area. If you're medication is a controlled substance, the pharmacy will not take you on as new a patient without any other prescriptions. I'm very lucky that I'm not prescribed a lot of meds other than the one I need for my ADHD, but unfortunate as I travel for work, that I will have to find a pharmacy way further away for only one monthly prescription. I'm sure they're nice individuals in the pharmacy, but not convenient at all.

I have been going there for about a year, and love this pharmacy. The staff is always nice, happy, and willing to stop what they are doing to help me. They have a lunch counter from back in the days when you could have lunch while you were out shopping, and serve sandwiches, soup, ice cream, and home made fudge.

This is a small city, it is a city but actually a town in size anyway. The Pharmacy is one of the best I have ever been to. Granted I do go alot as I have to. It is a very old building, with all that goes with that distinction. The greatest part is the people who work there. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. You can even have a on site made lunch, ice cream, or homemade fudge while you wait. It has a small selection of things to look at and purchase as well. They also have Yankee Candles, don't read into the name bad things, a wide variety of them in sizes and aromas. So the readers digest version of my review is if you are in the original downtown area go there.
