Pomona Valley Health Centers (PVHC) at Claremont Urgent Care

I had a really great experience with Nichole Henley at urgent care. Every time I’ve gone in the past, I felt like providers didn’t really listen to what I was saying and would just give me cough medicine even though I wasn’t coughing. Nichole Henley was the first person who actually took the time to understand my symptoms and what I’ve been dealing with. One thing that made it even more reassuring was that she told me she was actually going through the same symptoms herself and was on about day nine of it. That really helped me feel understood because she knew exactly what it felt like and what I was describing. We entered the urgent care just before 6pm. We were treated with respect and kindness by every single person! Dr. Homer-Bertrand was fabulous, and the medical assistants were absolutely a joy to be around in a stinky situation for my son! Thank you for a great urgent care experience!

Everyone was kind and professional. We were in and out which was amazing! Staff from the front to the back were kind and friendly. Dr, Chaing was helpful and efficient! I arrived today at this urgent care with my stepdaughter because her mother works there and was met with extremely condescending and unprofessional behavior from nearly the entire front desk staff. From the moment we checked in, the staff appeared more focused on personal opinions and outside information than on the medical needs of the patient. Despite the fact that I was the child’s legal guardian at the time and it was her father’s legal custody day, I was removed from the room at the direction of her mother, Jennifer Kaminski. The staff complied without verifying custody or guardianship and then refused to allow me back into the room or permit me to leave with the kids. At that point, I was denied access entirely. My daughter and I always have great experiences at this Urgent Care. Dr. Homer-Bertard was extremely helpful and caring towards my daughter and really listened to her feelings and my concerns, and took action quickly. The staff there is also extremely kind and helpful.
