PM Pediatric WakeMed Children's Urgent Care

I am so grateful for PM Pediatrics. The few times we have needed them, we have received excellent care. Last night my child started feeling poorly at 7:45 p.m. Although you can simply walk in, you can also book an appointment online. We were able to grab an 8:15 appointment and she was being seen by the provider shortly after. The part I'm most grateful for is that they were able to give her the first dose of antibiotics right there in the office. This saved me from the logistical hassle of trying to get to the pharmacy and get her to bed at a decent hour. That makes all the difference in the world when your child is sick and the hour is late! My child was understandably grumpy as well and staff was very patient with her. All around excellent experience, highly recommend!

I've taken my daughter to this location only twice. The first time a little over a year ago, it was a Saturday afternoon and my daughter hadn't been feeling good since the previous day, I scheduled a same day appointment, got in pretty quickly, saw the doctor quickly, they tested her for covid and the flu and witing for the results and she was positive for the flu. The doctor was knowledgeable and gave me his honest opinion as a doctor and father himself which was the natural care opinion of liquids, rest, ibuprofen for fever and what to look for if i should need to be bring her in again. They gave me a dr note for work and my daughter one for school. All in all I was satisfied with my experience. Fast Forward to my next and most recent experience. Always have a good experience with PM Pediatrics urgent care, in office or their Telehealth option. I have used both for my child. When I’m not able to get him into his Ped office I can always reassure myself that they’ll treat him. We are in and out quickly and the staff at the cary location is kind and attentive.

I should have read the latest reviews here because I would have gone elsewhere.. First off the lady with blond short hair in the front is a little bit rude. Whoever was training along with her did a much nicer job so you should keep that person there instead. They stuck us in the room for an hour to see a doctor. Doctor showed up and at first I thought he was good but not at all. He wanted to clean my toddler’s ear to see the eardrum. He took 10 min to grab a basic tool. My toddler went through this before and she never reacted this way. We had to tell the doctor to be gentle because he irritated her ear!! We also told him that our toddler keeps touching her mouth and there is a little bit drooling as well. He checked very quickly and confirmed nothing was there.. Today I checked her again

I visited the clinic on Saturday. I had made an appointment from home for two hours before. The clinic was busy because of the incoming snowstorm, but the entire staff made the visit smooth and easy. I didn’t have to wait long to be taken back and saw the doctor in less than five minutes. I appreciate that the doctor listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I will definitely go back if I need to. I usually go to the Raleigh location, but now I will always choose to bring my children to any of their locations.
