PM Pediatric Urgent Care

We will not be coming back here for the sake of my children. We have visited several times, and the experience has been highly inconsistent. Which doctor you get seems to depend on the day and, largely, on luck. Two weeks ago, my son had a fever, coughing, and some ear pain, so we came here. Despite having a reservation, we waited over an hour past our scheduled time to be seen. After we explained my son’s symptoms and a brief check by doctor Hanafi W., he immediately diagnosed an ear infection. Doctor Hanafi W. prescribed amoxicillin for ten days. When I asked why an ear infection would cause such severe coughing, the only explanation provided was “congestion”. We were not convinced and did not want to risk giving our son unnecessary antibiotics if the diagnosis was incorrect. We went t

PM Pediatrics in Yonkers is our go to urgent care for our little one. While every visit is positive, this one really stood out to me. It was clear that it was extremely busy. Upon walking in, the waiting room was completely full. Megan at the front was so wonderful and was so calm under the pressure of it all. She was clear about the wait time and suggested that there were later appointments available which I opted for. When we came back for our 3:30pm appointment, it was somehow busier than when we left the first time, but Megan’s attitude remained positive and reassuring. No matter how many people came up to ask her questions, how many new people came in, she remained extremely pleasant, helpful, and forthcoming. We walked in and were seen just 20 minutes after registering, which was great! The nurse and doctor who took care of us were incredibly kind and friendly to both my son and me, and they had wonderful bedside manner. My son was nervous, but they assessed him and performed the swabs quickly, which helped him feel much more at ease. I would definitely recommend this place!

We had an amazing experience with Dr. Joe and the entire staff, esp. nurse Rosita, at Yonkers PM Pediatrics. They took such wonderful care of my son on Saturday evening when he needed nine stitches. Dr. Joe was calm, gentle, and so patient throughout the whole process. He explained everything clearly, helped keep my son comfortable, and made a stressful situation so much easier for both of us. Been here a few times as a walk in and the wait was less than 10 minutes. It took longer to fill out the paper work then to get seen. LOL Staff was friendly and nice. Will continue to use this location for my daughter’s urgent care needs.
