This place is horrible. My father went in on Friday 7/11/25 after leaving the hospital to recover. I visited him on Sunday 7/13/25 and I noticed he looked lost and wouldn’t answer any of my questions or have a conversation with me he would just nodded his head and would fall asleep. I spoke to a nurse and her answer was he must be tired. I shouldn’t have believed her. Now he’s at the hospital again with what looks like a red bruise not and not responding to our questions or the doctors just with a lost look. We asked them what happened he was doing fine at the hospital before getting sent here all they can say is we don’t know
My father was sent to this location. From Kaiser, he was a engineer, a pilot. I'm very smart individual when I visited him. It was as if they over medicated him, he wasn't himself? He would ask me to go touch the doorknob in the room that he shared with another individual, he kept on ask me to do things like that. The person in the bed next to him, said you're not supposed to do it. But I didn't know what was going on. Eventually, they admitted him to the emergency room in playa Del Rey. I believe it was on Lincoln boulevard, my dad was never the same. He actually died in that hospital. The emergency doctor who was excellent. He told me that they took too long. To send him to the hospital. R.I.P.
I recently visited this facility, and while I initially hesitated to write a review, I feel it’s important to share my experience. The facility had a strong odor of urine and felt unclean. The staff appeared inattentive, with many focused on their phones instead of the residents, which I believe is unacceptable. Based on what I observed, I would not recommend bringing a loved one to this facility.
I would have given this place one star, save for some of the great people who work there (Chris, Jesus, Linda, Marilee, Yolanda, Aldo, Emily, Raynesha, Ashley, Rit.) It was disorganized from Day One - there was pretty much no intake process, and we had to ask a bunch of questions to get basic information (meal times, what type of clothes to bring, etc. etc.) The administrator was there intermittently, and the staff never knew when she would be in, or the social worker. Whoever said it smelled was correct - an unidentified mix of bodily fluids as soon as you walk in. We had to ask multiple times for my father to get his medicine on his regular schedule. We had to ask multiple times for a CNA to change him or move him to the wheelchair so he wouldn't be in bed all day. No one seemed to be t
Absolutely great care. They sincerely care for you with love and patience.
