Dr. Alyssa Ford has been remarkable in every way. I’ve seen her twice for dry needling on my hamstring, and each visit she has truly gone above and beyond. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their progress. She’s attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely wants to help you feel and perform your best. I’ve already noticed improvement and feel well-supported every step of the way. I can’t recommend Dr. Ford enough to anyone looking for a physical therapist who truly cares and delivers exceptional results.

After a severe ankle sprain I found Pinyon PT. Sarah and Alyssa took a great care of me. From professional care and advice, through dry needling and exercises, they helped me to get over my injury and back to trail running when I was absolutely ready and strong enough for it. I recently joined the strength training program they offer and I’m continuing my journey to getting stronger in my running. Sarah and Alyssa are both super knowledgable and professional but also fun and upbeat. Like they are definitely someone you want in your circle. I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t find these two!

Dr. Sarah McNurlin has helped me so much over the last few years as my PT. Not only treating the acute issue (which of course she does) but taking the time to talk through what other factors might be impacting my healing and making a plan together. Making sure that the “homework” she gives me fits with my current training and schedule so my exercises aren’t a chore but just become part of my routine. She’s created such a peaceful and healing practice - there’s a reason she continues to win Best in Utah! If you need a PT you can’t go wrong with Pinyon!

I can’t recommend Sarah enough! I came to her a few months ago with a ton of pain at two different points in my back. I’m 44 years old and lift regularly, but accidents happen, and I ended up hurting both my upper and mid back in the gym. After trying to relieve the pain with stretching, physical therapy, and physical therapy devices, I was getting desperate. After seeing Sarah three times for dry needling sessions (with Stim), I am working out again with no discomfort at all! In addition to her effective skill set, Sarah was also very professional and efficient with our time during each appointment. If you need to remove pain from your body, and you want it handled as quickly and effectively as possible, there’s no one else in Salt Lake that I would recommend.
