Pinnow Hometown Pharmacy

I always give positive feedback when deserved. However I cannot say Anything positive about Hometown pharmacy in Broadhead. 1 1/2 hrs after my Dr appointment my prescription still wasn't ready. When I voiced my displeasure I was told they were short staff, I can understand that. However last time I was there, they weren't and it took an hour. Because I complained your pharmacist blatantly told me to go somewhere else. Not good business practice. I'm on oxygen and don't drive. Not Only did this inconvenience me, but also the person who took me. I was very offended by your staff. There were NO Stars earned in this rating, it wouldn't let me send if I didn't push one

This week I had a problem @ the Hometown Pharmacy in Brodhead. I have been getting my prescriptions filled there for 3 decades and have never had a problem. In August I had a 90 day prescription filled for Omeprazole ( heart burn medicine ) They are a rather large capsule so normally they are in a big bottle. This time they were in a much smaller prescription bottle. I didn't actually count the pills, but towards the end of October I realized that there were not enough pills left until the next refill would be approved. about 12 short. After 2 trips to the pharmacy, pointing out that they shorted the refill and being treated rather rudely, I might add, They admitted the error and gave me the balance. They are great in person. But when they are closed and I try to call in my prescription on their automated service, so I can pick it up the next day, its a busy signal. They don't have an app or website to use either. When the automated service does work, it's ok. To often it tells me I have to call and talk to them to get my refill even though it's a regular need with a dozen refills to go. So the automated is a mostly useless. The service is still in the 1980s technologically. They really need to get mobile/pc friendly.

Not sure what happened to this place but lady working today was RUDE to my mom and myself. I have used this pharmacy for yrs. If I'm going to b treated like a burden than I'll use walgreens or other place that has more to offer and not rude. Sorry I have alot of medications just to get out of bed each day!

I was there to get a prescription and the store carries all kinds of fun items. It's like a gift shop too.
