The Pines Care Center is a wonderful and caring resource for people in Fire Island Pines. This free, donor supported facility goes above and beyond. Thank you for being here for us! (It's located just under Whyte Hall at Coastguard Walk.)
The staff was absolutely rude and full of judgment. They had the audacity of ask private and invasive questions in front of other patients. The doctor barely listened to a word a said and was so rough with the examination he left me in pain for hours. The worst experience at a medical facility I’ve ever had!
The woman on the phone actually told me I have to come get crutches myself. I have no words; this wasn’t the doctor and I understand it’s a volunteer operation but we deserve better.
Saw me promptly without an appointment! Doctor was kind and caring and patched me right up. Plus it’s free. Can’t beat that.
