Pine Run Village Health Center

My mother-in-law has been here one week. Most of the people who work here are kind and hard-working. This is not an easy job, and we appreciate the care that is being provided.

My grandma was here and the staff is terrible they don’t go to her when she pushed her button, didn’t let go to sleep when she wanted to because it was “too early”.

My family was horrified at the way our father was treated at this Rehab Center. He was nothing more than the equivalent of a potted plant in the corner. It was stressful to see the lack of care and blatant disregard for his health, wellness, respect and dignity. He wore a bracelet indicating he was at risk for falling. They informed us that two qualified people needed to transfer him to the bathroom. He would push the button and no one would come for 40 minutes--which we timed. Family was instructed not to help. When family went out to locate someone for him, the hallways were bare. When we found someone, they were miserable and told us they needed to find a second qualified person to get him to the bathroom. This process happened over and over continuously throughout his stay. Some of staff very nice and helpful but the rest are rude and not kind to patients which is unacceptable! No one answers the call bells. They seem very short staffed. Weekend/holiday staff have terrible attitudes! Food is not very good. There was a supposed Covid outbreak but half the staff did not wear masks going in and out of rooms. Do not send your loved ones here!!!!!!!!

My stay at Pine Run Health & Rehab was excellent. The nursing care was great. The Dining Facilities were very clean. Food was above average but could’ve been hotter. But then I discovered they outsource 98% of their foods therefore trying to heat the items in warming trays isn’t so great. I sent things back to be reheated in their microwave. Even my coffee. But the young people who waited on us were beyond excellent! The ladies in charge of extra curricular activities were just wonderful. My 2 week stay was great. My sincere thanks to Chris, Debbie, Deb, Carla, Damie, Hope, Bill my PT, the entire Dining Staff and so many more!!! And my special “meal buddies”, Bonita, Kathryn, Lori, Thelma, Occa, Eileen, Cyndi, Bill and Ben!
