Piedmont Urgent Care

I have been to this urgent care 3 times already and I like that they are fast to get you checked in and to see you. I like that everyone is friendly, attentive and most importantly get you feeling better quick. This last time I took my son in for a high fever and they were quick to see him and got his fever down immediately. After testing, it turned out he had strep and were quick to send his antibiotics. Love having this clinic close to our neighborhood.

This urgent care facility is new, clean, and well organized. The front desk staff, especially Alice, were welcoming and helpful. Nurse Victoria and the doctors, Dr. Mose and Dr. Kelley, were friendly, professional, and took the time to listen to my concerns. I have visited twice as a walk-in patient, and both times my entire visit took less than an hour. They updated the MyChart patient portal within minutes after the visit, and the notes were detailed and well written. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I highly recommend this urgent care center.

I love this location. The facility is always immaculately clean. The staff, outside of the medical team, are always so friendly and helpful upon arrival. The medical team is always super thorough, and does a great job of listening to my concerns answering my questions. They ensure that I have everything I need before I leave their office. I highly recommend this urgent care if you’re ever in need of urgent attention that doesn’t warrant going into the emergency room.

Problem #1: Issues with my appointment time. Problem #2: Very long wait time (2 hours) with my sick kid. They weren't even busy. Problem #3: When I told them my daughter had strep (because I was 100% sure it was strep), they took it upon themselves to test her for the flu and Covid. It was in fact strep, and those other two tests were completely unnecessary tests that I DID NOT ask for. Problem #4: My daughter was scared and having a difficult time taking the strep test. Employees had poor bedside manner. Problem #5: My $594 bill. Office Visit $320 + Flu test $93 + Covid test $134 + Strep test $47. Why in the world does an office visit cost $320? That's insane to me. No wonder they were quick to pull out and open up the flu and Covid tests. What a money grab for them.

They were nice enough, but did not exhibit a sense of urgency. The two receptionists (intake) coordinators were talking about personal topics rather than addressing my bleeding hand. Once I was in the exam room, my wound was cleaned, assessed, bandaged and I was sent to the hospital emergency room.
