Piedmont Urgent Care

Understand urgent care takes time. People need to wait. I get that. But if I make an appointment I simply expect the building to be open at that time. I have a job I need to get to, and 10 minutes after my appointment time the building is still closed. Lights are still off. That's just unprofessional. It's now been 20 minutes. Still not open. A staff member came out from the back, look outside and promptly went to the back again.

Too start I had an appointment waited an hour had to go back I. And ask them if I missed my turn being I never received a text. She then said no there’s a couple still ahead of you ok no problem I understand not even two minutes later they called me back. Let’s be honest yall I accidentally skipped me but that’s ok. Moving forward I go back they say room # 4 I walk myself In there no nurse or anyone with me. I sit down put my head back close my eyes and a lady kicks the blood pressure machine in the room and slams the door closed. Just wow. It’s been so rude here so far and I haven’t even seen anyone yet. The nurse came In about 5 minutes later she was very sweet. So I got a breathing treatment and a shot they came back in and said I tested negative for flu and more but the only problem is

I had a great experience visiting piedmont Urgent Care today. From my initial call to check services and time, to my greeting when I walked in, the receptionist was more than welcoming. She helped me find my insurance info, and gave me very helpful information. My NP that assisted me was over the top friendly and caring (she’s from New Orleans with the long dreads). My visit was Quick and efficient. I would highly recommend this location

We were greeted in a kind, professional way by the receptionists, signed in and seen very quickly. The nurse was equally kind and attentive. The Doctor came in shortly thereafter and explained that he wanted to swab again, the reasons why and the need for an additional/different test with the reasons why. The results were prompt and the protocol was given. We were in and out before we knew it — yet were not rushed in any way. Very pleasant experience. Thank you.

This is the Conyers location. I am disappointed with the lack of communication during my visit. The doctor came in, I explained the issue I was having, she did a brief exam, ask me one clarity question, then left the room. Few minutes later, the nurse came in to discharged me with a prescription. I was not given an explanation regarding what I was being treated for or why the medication was prescribed. At minimum the doctor should have communicated findings before leaving the room, "This appears to be xyz, I’m prescribing xyz and here’s what to watch for. Or Nothing seems abnormal, here's what I'd recommend." Then the nurse comes in to reinforce the diagnosis or care plan or lack there of. I did ask a few questions with the nurse which wasn't much clarity as she said the doctor didn't disc
