Piedmont Prompt Care at Aiken

I had to go to urgent care due to a minor injury at work. The two ladies (Aquinatus and Alzenia), along with Tommy, made sure the proper process and paperwork were completed. Everyone was very kind, from Michael taking my vitals to Shelley taking the x-ray ending with NP Erica. It wasn't a one-time act. I had to go for my one week follow-up and those working, remembered me. The kindness was still there, with two new interactions with Lora and NP Brittany.

I came in because I thought I had flu. I didn’t realize coming in would actually make me sicker. The vents are covered in mold. The floor is disgusting and the bathrooms are out of soap. Unacceptable for a place that is supposed to be helping people recover from not making them more sick.

Do not go there. I took my son to Piedmont as a walk-in to make sure he does not have pinkeye. I received a bill for specialist fee a few days later. I was not notified that he was seeing a specialist, nor asking for one. She was a nurse practitioner, not a specialist. When I complained about it, they said that because she was working under a specialist, they charged me for the specialist fee. I feel I was scammed. I will not go back there again for sure. Besides, the lady at front desk was rude. She did not even care to give me a receipt after I asked nicely.

Quick friendly service from all the front staff. The nurse Michael was very pleasant and is one of the best nurses we have ever had at any care facility as well as Ms. Rachel. Our favorite place out side of our PCP.
