I had a great experience here. I came in after a roller skating accident that left me with 3 fractures. I was well taken care of from the ED to Observation to 4 northeast. In every unit, the nurses and PCTs were friendly, gentle, and extremely helpful. My PT, Ryan, was also a great help and very patient. They checked on me regularly and answered any questions I had. Being transported from one unit to another, I realized my shoes were left in the ED. The nurse, Kisha, in 4NE made a couple of calls and was able to find them! I also had to remove my small diamond earrings before MRI and they got misplaced as well during the shifting from one bed to another and the nurse in observation, Karla, was miraculously able to find those tiny earrings mixed up in the bed sheets! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Labor & Delivery Unit and the Mother & Infant Unit at Piedmont Henry Hospital. My stay from Tuesday through Saturday was absolutely perfect, and I felt supported, cared for, and truly valued every step of the way while giving birth to my son. The staff as a whole was phenomenal, but I especially want to recognize four incredible nurses who made my experience unforgettable: Tammy, Haddassah, Mae, and Keaya. • Tammy went above and beyond by making my son a personalized Christmas ornament, which was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that I will cherish forever. • Haddassah was amazing during labor—she carefully followed my birth plan, encouraged me through my contractions, and made sure I felt supported and empowered the entire time. • Mae

I just had my baby here on 2/4/2026 and it was amazing!!! I was sceptical at first cuz of reviews but not enough people leave reviews when things are good and only when things are bad. I was more than impressed and my husband was also. I went to the hospital at 1am and was in labor, my doctors were amazing. 12 hours of labor , and received my epidural at 8cm. 30 mins of pushing and my girl was here. Everyone was attentive, kind and listened to my every need. Can’t wait to have babies here in the future ! Love you Piedmont Henry labor and delivery nurses !

Had to take my husband to the ER last night which involved a trip to the OR. I have heard bad reviews about this ER and hesitant to bring him here, but checked online and wait time seemed reasonable so decided not to drive further to a different ER. I have to say, the staff did an amazing job from start to finish. They were attentive from the minute we came in. He only waited 5-10 minutes tops to be triaged. We had wait times in between things but would expect that anywhere. We knew they were paying attention even while we were waiting. Thank you for exceeding our expectations and for excellent care!

If I could give this ER zero stars, I would. I’m from Atlanta, born and raised, and this is by far the worst emergency room I’ve ever been to. I never thought I’d say this, but even Grady does a better job at treating and caring for people. I came to the ER in severe pain—so bad that I couldn’t stand or sit, and I was throwing up starting at 5:30 PM—yet I didn’t get a room until 3:00 AM. On top of that, doctors in the back repeatedly told my nurse not to give me a room. If you have the option to go to another hospital, I strongly suggest you drive past this one. They even ignored a blind man who was trying to find staff while they were calling his name. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. They discharge u faster then they see about you! These people do NOT CARE!!
