Yesterday I fell and fractured my wrist. I was able to make an appointment online with this urgent care very quickly. They were able to get me in within an hour of my accident. When I got there I was taking care of quickly. The staff was extremely friendly. The PA on staff was great. He had amazing bedside manner. He checked everything on my wrist and confirmed that I had two fractures with an X-ray. They gave me all the information I needed to get my referral to get my cast. The whole experience was efficient and put me at ease. Highly recommend using this facility if you're not able to go to your regular doctor and don't want to see the emergency room at the hospital.
🙌 Even though I was in great discomfort with an eye issue, reception was very accommodating and helpful in advising to reschedule my appointment for 9am the following morning rather than wait 2+ hours that night. Upon arriving at 9am, I was greeted by another kind and accommodating receptionist who promptly facilitated my intake data and had me seen by a doctor very quickly, who supplied referrals to alternative sources of care who would be better able to manage my needs for specialized assessment. Upon leaving, less than an hour later (more like 40 minutes), the lobby was 70% full of new patients waiting for their turn. First of all I came in on the same day that I brought my baby. We were both very sick. She ended up having RSV and I had a $10 co-pay. I went to pay with cash however I was told they don’t accept cash that you have to do debit or credit card through the link they send you to your phone I specifically said with a new baby I was not working and that I wanna make sure that this card was not gonna stay on file. It was not gonna be saved or used for auto pay and they assured me no we don’t save cards and we don’t do auto pay unless it’s something you want to do and I specifically said no next thing I know I have A text message sent to me on Friday saying thank you for your payment of almost $300 that I did not approve. I will NEVER return to PIC or Wellnow. The visit seemed routine (though ultimately was a misdiagnosis), but the billing was horrendous. Since they use third-party billing, you can’t talk to anyone at the location about it so it’s only over the phone at an unknown location and they have refused on multiple occasions to give me access to a supervisor. It feels like their business strategy is to charge and hope people will pay instead of contest seemingly erroneous charges. I paid the first bill in full, but then months later received a second bill for labs that were supposed to have gone thru Quest but hadn’t. The staff was wonderful, they were patient and efficient, got us in, took a careful history, did Grayson, confirmed a fracture and referred us to an orthopedic. They were awesome, our new goto place where we have medical issues. Great service, great experience.
