Physician Care Centers - Vero Beach

I did not have my Insurance card when I showed up for my appointment. Usually an office would reschedule you to come back. Everyone in the office was very patient and waited until I called my Insurance company and got the information I needed to check in. Then they still let me keep my appointment for that day and continued to be a extremely pleasant and supportive! Thank you all for an your compassion and support! Lisa Neighbor -O'neal

Staff made 2 mistakes recently. First they didn't include a specific blood test in their paperwork instructions to Labcorp that Donna had requested. So I had to go back to LabCorp and wait a half-hour again to have blood drawn again. Today the EKG appointment that they called me to setup was canceled after I arrived because they suddenly realized that I already had one performed earlier this year. So I drove there for nothing. They blamed 'human error' - but never even apologized. Unrelated to these screwups Donna is an excellent healthcare provider.

So bad I gave up and found a new provider. Problems with Medical Assistant "T". 5 to 10 phone calls to get prescriptions filled or corrected for mistakes. My first appointment they scheduled me but didn't put me on the schedule? Waited 1 1/2 hours and provider acted annoyed with me?? Should have run at this point. Canceled an appointment with me 5 minutes before scheduled time ( I was just turning into the lot). Scheduled telehealth for next day and provider was a no show. No answer to phone calls , front desk finally calls me back and wants to reschedule for later in the day, ummm no...I took time off from work for appointment (2nd time). The office staff is very nice and accomodating. However, the facillity is disorganized and a little on the shabby side with boxes and supples stacked in various places throughout the office. The pillar in the middle in the waiting room is really uncomfortable. I never saw a Doctor in the office. Twice lab work was ordered by the NP without informing me during our face to face visit. I was given the hard copy of the order on my way out of the office. This doesn't do much to build a trusting relationship. There are far better choices in Vero Beach.

Fidel is an asset to your Vero Beach office. She is very professional, kind, considerate and very understanding. She is a delight to speak to her on the phone or be in her presence. I am thrilled that she is part of the staff. We gave each other a hug when I left. She is truly a wonderful person.
