PharMerica

A national firm, we are located in the DFW area. Pefect example of how money-grubbing PBMs deliver garbage service and no customer support for premium prices. Victims in 2024 of a hack that destroyed their online systems, they were even unable to send paper statements for a few months. Unfortunately, you may be forced to switch when a facility signs up to Pharmerica. Our facility switched in the middle of a plan year and many people had to pay out of pocket because their drugs went off the approved list. They ran out of some meds and had to "borrow" meds from other patients. Pharmacy orders take days to fill, if they are even received. Everyone that works here should be in jail.

This is the absolute worst excuse for a pharmacy ever! They received my medication order via fax at 3:00pm on 12/28. It is now 12:09am on 12/29, and still no medication. It should not take 9.5 hours plus to process an order. Do they really believe it's acceptable to apparently set aside the prescriptions for a heart patient who was just released from the hospital? I think not.

***FYI - this is not a retail pharmacy like a Walgreens or CVS. PharMerica is a national leader in pharmacy services, serving our partners in over 3,100 long-term care, senior living, IDD/behavioral health, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, and hospital management programs.

I was amazed with this pharmacy. This sort of client support is incomprehensible today. I have never been welcomed with such veritable generosity.
