This 5 star review is only for Steve. Everyone else MEGA 0 STARS. I had come here for multiple medications after open heart surgery and MULTIPLE people were not able to help me, couldnt figure it out and didnt ask anyone else for assistance TO help until I spoke to steve at another window myself. How frustrating it is to come here after a open heart surgery for family to pick up their meds and they say I only see 3 and NOT OFFER ANY solutions, seek upper mgmt help or anything at all. Some were over the counter and they basically pointed to get it myself. When I spoke to steve he took his time to figure out the medications, what the problem was, and located everything for us even over the counter ones without even having to ask him for help. This is genuinely the most frustrating Kaiser pharmacy I’ve been to. It consistently feels like the staff isn’t able to manage issues efficiently, and every visit comes with a new problem. The pharmacist who handles escalations is especially difficult to work with and shows very little empathy or customer service. After multiple disappointing experiences, I’ll be driving to a different Kaiser pharmacy-even if it’s farther-because it’s simply not worth the hassle here.

Hours say open to 9 but that is either a lie or the person working didn’t want to help me. If you say you are coming from urgent care they will still help you so that’s the hack for people showing up right before closing.

Today January 23rd 2026, I tried to refill a prescription on KP.org and it gave me an alert saying that I couldn’t refill prescriptions because the Pasadena Kaiser pharmacy was on strike so I drove to that pharmacy and it was open and I explained to them that the reason why I couldn’t refill my prescription on KP.org and they said that they were NOT on strike. Kaiser are liars.

Kaiser pharmacy is not open to the public except for some over the counter medications that you can get in the regular pharmacy like CVS etc. The people in the pharmacy work hard and fast and their service is excellent.
