Standing in line for a pickup order is almost always a long wait, even for an employee. I stood there with three other patients being called up. I do not like their process. They need more pharmacy tech assistance focusing on checkout rather than the check-in line, which is shorter. Three pharmacy assistants were checking in patients and one pharmacy technician assistant was doing checkout. It does not seem appropriate.

Pharmacy staff and doctors do not communicate effectively. (We)Still do not have the correct insulin after 4 visits to pick it up, being told each time that it was ready. It has been almost 2 months! Their incompetence is costing our health and finances to deteriorate drastically.

Staff were friendly and professional, but this is the only Pharmacy that I've ever been to that will message you that your prescription is ready and then you have to wait in line to check in and then wait another 15 minutes for them to get your prescription together. It should not take 30 minutes to pick up a prescription. Being high volume is not a good reason for this other high-volume hospital pharmacies like CommonSpirit Health. There is no wait when your prescription is ready it is ready.

This is a much larger Kaiser Permanente than most. In the pharmacy had plenty of employees to accommodate the amount of customers trying to sign in and customers trying to pick up prescriptions. The doctors and nurses that I spoke to are part of a very wonderful staff vibe. I would definitely say among the different Kaiser Permanente that I’ve been to that this is by far more customer service oriented. I appreciate everything. Thank you.

PHARMACY REVIEW: I work at an ALF. Our clients cannot always leave the house on their own and there is often only 1 staff member at the house, so picking up medications at the pharmacy isn’t easy. The fact that clozapine is only available for pharmacy pick-up has caused him to miss a dose of this critical medication. It can only be ordered as a one-month supply, it can’t be ordered until a certain date, and the labs can’t be more than 2 weeks old when the medication is filled. This is a scheduling nightmare when staff must take the client to get his labs drawn and pick up his medication, because there must be coverage at the house while staff is out.
