Pharmacy | Kaiser Permanente Palm Springs Medical Office

Kaiser cannot manage a labor relation and we have another strike make us patients suffer even we continue to pay our premiums. This location is closed again because of the strike. Even though I submitted my refills prior to the strike, Kaiser did not fill them in their infinite wisdom so they’re sitting in the queue at this pharmacy. When I called customer service I was told that I would need to drive an hour to Moreno Valley pharmacy to request an emergency transfer of my prescriptions to the CVS in Cathedral city. I tried to go to the Palm Desert pharmacy, but the line was going out the door and they’re understaffed because of the strike. Kaiser is a joke! Avoid them at all cost.

Very helpful when I went in to pick up prescriptions, explaining new charges. EXTREMELY cheerful considering I showed up 8 minutes to closing, even letting me take a Pic of the otc products available😁

Don’t have my prescription. Literally just had surgery and have to go all the way to Palm Desert now for it.

I had medication I needed to urgently pick up while I was out of town in Idyllwild. I tried calling the pharmacy to confirm they had my medication in stock and available prior to driving over an hour into town. I was transferred to an operating system, and I couldn't speak to a real person to get my questions answered about my medication. Poor system in place, and very inconvenient for getting any help via phone.

While I love Kaiser as a whole, I was very unimpressed with this facility. It's very grungy on the outside, and not what I expected for my first encounter as a new Kaiser Permanente client, especially from a well known and respected medical establishment.
