Pharmacy Advantage

Hello, I received a call from Pharmacy Advantage today (Sunday) asking to confirm information/demographics so the medication can be mailed. First of all, I cannot confirm that the call was actually coming from Pharmacy Advantage; it was from a random cell phone number in Troy, MI. Also, I was very leery about giving information over the phone; it's not often a pharmacy will give you a call on a Sunday to have a conversation. They must be extremely busy so that is probably the reason for a Sunday call. I did inform the caller that I was very uncomfortable with giving information over the phone since I couldn't identify the source of the call. The caller herself was pleasant/courteous. She did leave me her name and the 1-800 number for Pharmacy Advantage. I did try and call that number

I am extremely disappointed in pharmacy advantage. My son is a kidney transplant patient and is on Livtencity. We just got the second prescription for this medication and just like the first one it came in a Trycold bag. When I called the first time I was told it wasn't a cold pack, but was a regular pack put in the package to keep it from moving around. That time I had already thrown out the bag. This prescription which arrived today is clearly in a bag that has Trycold written on it. I have taken a picture of this package, unfortunately I can't include it in this review.This medication is supposed to be kept at room temperature and not frozen. This is totally unacceptable and should not have been sent this way. You need to pay attention to how you send out medication and train your staf

I changed my insurance company January 1, 2026. Pharmacy Advantage todate has not been able to fill my prescriptions. Every two weeks they call saying there is a reason for the delay and have to make changes and they to not follow through. We are now into March and I am two months over due and they are still having problems. I have changed supplier and glad to not have may prescriptions with Pharmacy Advantage.

“Pharmacy Advantage is absolutely the worst — shady practices, zero accountability, and no empathy.” Absolutely the worst. I was on a three-way call with my insurance company, and the rep from Pharmacy Advantage threw me under the bus. They told the insurance company the issue was my fault because I “refused” to give them my email address. WHAT?! Why on earth would I hold back my email address when it’s needed for contact? That excuse is absurd. Because of this, I was held responsible for a damaged prescription that was temperature sensitive. This is unacceptable. Don’t bother with your canned sympathy replies or redirecting me to your website, I won’t go there. People need to know how shady this operation is and should seek an alternative source for their specialty medications. You are

2 MONTH UPDATE: THE CLOWN SHOW CONTINUES!! LATE ON MY TRANSPLANT MEDS YET AGAIN!! A WHOLE WEEK WITHOUT MY MEDS! MY LIFE IS LITERALLY IN THESE FOOLS HANDS. CONTACTING MY LAWYER TODAY. APOLOGIES DO NOT FIX MY LATE MEDS. THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS. PLEASE BEWARE. PLEASE CHANGE FROM THEM IF YOU CAN. 1 MONTH UPDATE: Still inconsistent. My meds, that are needed for me to stay alive mind you, are never delivered on time. Last 2 times I had to go pick them up no where nearby. Yet again my meds are not here and I am out. Ready for legal action. Inconsistent. Call me to ask me if I need a medicine. I tell them no, I have extras. So then they decided to fill it anyway and CHARGE ME FOR IT. you guys are consistently awful and poorly ran. Sending me meds I've never taken before instead if the meds I need
