Petranek's Pharmacy

On a Monday, I had a cream sent to this pharmacy by my doctor for a very painful condition. I called them to see if they could have it ready the same day. They said it was not possibly because they were busy but it was going to be ready on Wednesday and they would call me to let me know. No call from them on Wednesday, which was totally unacceptable considering the urgent need for this cream.

5 stars doesn’t feel like enough for such an incredible company. These days, it’s rare to find an owner who genuinely cares about his customers, but both he and his entire staff go above and beyond. Everyone is friendly and kind, creating an experience that truly stands out. The owner has now made a long drive to my house—after hours, on two separate occasions—just to bring my cat’s medicine when I was in a pinch. Not because he had to, but because he’s a genuinely kind and caring person. There are a couple of compounding pharmacies closer to me, but I will continue to choose Petranek’s because of their exceptional customer service. If more companies operated like this, the world would be a much better place. I can’t recommend them enough! If you haven’t shopped here yet, you’re missing

Excellent experience. Outstanding service. My dog just had surgery and needed to have her seizure medicine filled right away. Called Petranek's Pharmacy. I am so grateful and thankful for their help. They filled the prescription immediately.The staff is professional, competent and helpful. I would highly recommend this pharmacy.

Was referred here by my vet when I needed a large amount of a compounded medication for my dog and no one else had it. The staff here is fantastic- They communicated with us from the moment they received our prescription until it was ready. They made the medicine into a soft chew for our (practically toothless LOL) senior boy and also DELIVERED the meds to our door, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

I discovered Petranek’s only a year ago but they’re a world apart from your average pharmacy today…definitely from an era pre-Y2K that’s otherwise forgotten and unappreciated. The whole team is very professional and knowledgeable, yet personable; they know and respect their customers and actually listen to them, unlike every major pharmacy we are saddled with now. They provide specialized services for compounds and medications (that your insurance most likely won’t cover, since they’re specifically prepared for you). Find them before they disappear too! Hopefully they won’t anytime soon.
