I first saw Dr. Lowe eight years ago for a partial detachment in my retina. He seemed nice enough and I went to him again after the same thing happened in my right eye. My problem is with the staff who didn’t tell me that they moved from their Delray location to Lake Worth. Then they didn’t have me fill out any paperwork until after my eyes were dilated! I didn’t understand that we were going to do a laser procedure to prevent the retina from completely pulling away. It wasn’t explained, or at least I did not understand. The Assistant argued with me and said that the doctor already explained it and wanted me to sign a consent. He did come in and was very nice and gracious and explained the procedure and then we went ahead and did it. I wish they would get their act together

Dr Lowe made the floaters worse. Had one small now it is a huge mass of dark floaters pieces disrupting vision. He kept zapoing my eye on different appointments trying to fix what he messed up. He was impatient and not professional. He caused me eye problems in my eye. He caused trauma to my eye and blurred vision. Beware. Beware. Beware.

Dr Lowe made the floaters worse on me as well. Had one small now it is a huge mass of dark floaters pieces disrupting vision. He hit the lens in my eye and caused a cataract as well. I do not recommend this procedure because if he screws up it will cost YOU 10's of thousands of dollars to repair his mistake like it did me.

This review is on my mom's behalf. Dr.lowe is a arangrant and unprofessional person. HE ACTUALLY YELLED AT A 82 YR OLD. And told her GET THE HELL OUT OF MY OFFICE. even after he could see she was suffering a panic attack he continue to badger her and me. He accused me as allowing my mom to go blind. I do not do this. I will stand behind her and do what she wants. The injections he wanted to do scares the hell out of her. Since the accident where she suffered head trauma she suffers from ptsd. HE TOLD HER HE DID NOT CARE AND THAT THE TRAUMA HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS SITUATION well he showed his lack of compassion and failed to follow he oath not to do harm. You do not YELL AT PATIENTS.

Doctor explained the Risks. I had vetreolysis due to vetreous detachment and floaters. My vision improved a lot. Looking forward to the next treatment. Thank you Dr. Lowe.
